PBCS and UK Arab Business Council Sign MoU to develop Bilateral Trade and Investment.
Sharjah, UAE — In a move to enhance economic ties and collaboration between Pakistan, the United Kingdom, and the UAE, the Pakistan Business Council Sharjah (PBCS) and the United Kingdom Arab Business Council (UKABC) have officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). The signing ceremony, held in Manchester , marked a significant milestone in strengthening business relations across multiple sectors.
The MoU was signed by Dr. Farid Khan, Founder of UKABC, and Mr. Amir Hassan, Vice Chairman of PBCS. The agreement underscores their mutual commitment to promoting trade, investment, and economic development between the regions. It aims to facilitate increased collaboration, networking, and partnership opportunities for businesses operating in Sharjah, the UAE, and the UK.
The signing event was attended by distinguished dignitaries, including H.E. Muhammad Tariq Wazir, Consul General of Pakistan in Manchester, who graced the occasion with his presence. Also present were Mr. Salman Wisal, Secretary General of PBCS, and Mr. Muhammad Ali Khan, a prominent member of UKABC.
Speaking on the occasion, representatives from both councils expressed their enthusiasm about the partnership’s potential to open new avenues for commerce and investment, economic growth and strengthening bilateral relations.
