Eduscan has been providing special education to the children of determination and training programs for the teachers for the last 27 years in the UAE.
Dr Alka Kalra the founder of Eduscan is an award-winning Psychologist licensed by the Community Development Authority.
She told “‘Sambhaavna- A Carnival of Hope’ is a sociocultural CSR event of Eduscan Group. An extravagant cultural program by the ‘children of determination’ is presented every year to showcase the artistic talent of the special children.
She told Ms. Ameera Alisha, Managing Director of La Perel Events & Mrs. Jaya from india joined hands in the event. She also said that We organize winter and summer inclusive camps for regular and special children where the celebrity artists and the teachers conduct workshops and prepare them for performing arts like dance, drama, music, yoga and craft. The regular children get an opportunity to make the best use of their vacation and develop a sense of social responsibility and compassion towards the special children whereas the children of determination get an avenue to showcase their talent. The participant children perform on the stage along with the eminent artists in front of a distinguished audience.”’
‘UAE Got Talent’ is a talent hunt initiative for special children by Eduscan. The young artists and players in the categories of dance, acting, music, painting and sports from all across the UAE are identified and trained to perform on the stage.
On the 4th and 5th of February over150 children of determination participated in singing, dancing, instruments, arts and crafts along with sports activities and on the 12th of February, they will perform along with the professional artists at Zabeel Ladies Club.
Jaya Sarkar, the eminent writer and director of ‘Sambhaavna’ produces a unique program every year with a theme of inclusion. It is appreciated by the sponsors from the corporate houses and audience. This year a ‘kathak on Kavita’ a colourful dance ballet is going to be performed by the popular dancer Vishakha Verma and her group.
